opportunities for new residents of Cape Coral to become acquainted and make friends
by participating in socials, group activities and meetings.<br> <br> </font></li><li><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">To
advise new residents of services and facilities that are available in Cape Coral.<br>

promote the welfare of Cape Coral and its residents.</font><br> <font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif">
</font> </li></ul><p><font face="Bodoni Black" color="#0000CC">Membership Requirements:</font></p><ul>
<li><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#000000">Membership
is limited to a one year in the New Resident Club<br> .</font></li><li><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#000000">The
dues are $10.00 per member for the one year.<br> </font><br> </li><li><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#000000">Applicants
must live in the city of Cape Coral for less than one year, and show proof of
residency (i.e. a Florida driver's license or a voter registration card).</font></li></ul><p><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif">
If you would like to join us, just attend one of our monthly meetings held the
FIRST Tuesday of each month at the Cape Coral Yacht Club Ballroom. Registration
and light refreshments start at 9:00 a.m. with the business meeting and program
starting at 10:00 a.m. The Cape Coral Yacht Club is located at 5819 Driftwood

</a></font></p><p><font face="Bodoni Black" color="#0000CC">How it works:</font></p><p><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#000000">
When you join the New Resident Club, you will be become a member of the current
months group. The group will then elect their own chairperson and plan all their
own activities as they move through the year. Activities will be based on the
interests of the group, however, past groups have planned potluck dinners, picnics,
card parties, dancing, golf, boating, theater, etc. This has proven to be a very
successful way for members to create new friendships that have lasted far beyond
the one year spent in the New Resident Club. Of course all members are invited
to attend the monthly meetings held the 1st Tuesday of each month and the <a href="Activities.htm" target="mainFrame">evening
socials</a> on the fourth Saturday of each month. </font></p><p><font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#000000">You
are also invited to join any of the many other <a href="Activities.htm" target="mainFrame">activity
